This is the rest of what happened to that traitor.
Since Nabooru never carried a weapon, I unsheathed mine and held the hilt out to her. I gave an exaggerated bow and waited in that position for her to take the weapon. She cautiously reached out, and then accepted the blade. I stood up straight again, even regal, with a superior posture like a true queen. I stared down at her as she contemplated her next action. With all those eyes on her, she was basically under the guillotine no matter what move she made. She could either kill them, and lose all respect for those she had persuaded to fight against Ganondorf, or not kill them and risk the consequence.
"What's the matter?" I asked with a smirk. "Your king gave you a direct order. Will you follow it, or admit you are a traitor and accept your punishment?"
She glared at me.
I grabbed the Gerudo on the end by the shoulder and pushed her toward Nabooru. She finally raised her weapon to strike.
"Oh, I nearly forgot," Ganondorf interjected, sarcastically. "Here's a little something to help you choose your fate."
With a small wave of his hand, the girl I restrained returned to her senses. She saw Nabooru swing the sword toward her and screamed out in fright. Nabooru stopped short, and stepped back from being startled. I shoved my foot into the back of the Gerudo's knee to force her down.
"If you don't kill her, I will," I snarled, easing my knife from my left boot.
"No, no please, don't. I'm sorry! I didn't know what was going on. Please show mercy, please don't kill me."
I eased my arm around her head, giving time for Nabooru to intervene.
"No! Wait," she yelled to stop me. "I'll do it."
I stepped back accordingly, and waved my knife to show she had the floor. "She's all yours."
She fidgeted her fingers around the hilt. The girl on her knees whimpered pitifully. Nabooru raised my sword across her chest and kept her eyes locked on the girl. The tension in the air rose drastically, until she finally released her arm.
The blade sang sourly through the air, but not at who her victim should have been. It was aimed for me.
I thrust out my dagger to block. While Ganondorf held out his hand to remove the girl's senses again, I tackled Nabooru to the roof
The audience gasped collectively, and some started shouting, "Liar! Traitor!" - "Fiend!" - "Kill her!" They created an entire uproar among them. Some loyal to Nabooru attempted to rush out of the crowd to aid her, but they were captured. Others that might have once claimed loyal to Nabooru were now too afraid to protest with all of Ganondorf's followers surrounding them. I had proven that Nabooru was weak, and I was strong, so they would follow anyone that I gave my loyalty to.
I had to constantly remind myself that Ganondorf wanted her alive. Her lack of skill was no surprise to me, but I remembered that she could still be deadly and didn't let my guard down. It was a kick straight to her side that knocked her off balance where I could grab my sword and bring her to her knees finally. I dug my nails into her shoulder and spun behind her. She grunted when I elbowed her in the back of her spine and forced her onto her stomach. I dropped my knee into her back, grabbed her head in one hand, and pressed my knife against her neck. She tilted her head as far back as she could, but all she could see were the Gerudo gathered to watch her die.
"Kill her, Dora!"
It wasn't just the death wishes they yelled at her, but the names and the insults. I leaned forward and whispered to her, "I will give you one victory, that you have known a man that I love in ways I have not. It burns my soul with loathing that you have that, when you never deserved it. Know that it was never out of love, only out of lust, never because he desired you, only because he deceived you." I raised my voice and encouraged my people. "What shall we do with this woman, who sympathizes with the Hylians?"
"Burn her!" one shouted, which made me laugh.
"What does she deserve for betraying not just our king, but all of us? She searched for a hero, one that could slay our king, and what did she plan to do then? Befriend the Hylians! But what will they say to a woman who deceived her own king to gain power? The Gerudo will never be accepted. The Hylians need to suffer as we have, before they can understand what it means to be desperate. Nabooru would turn to the Hylians, and leave you all behind! Tomorrow, as a team, we will be led by the most powerful king Hyrule has ever known, and that man will bring us prosperity. Nabooru utterly failed, and I am ashamed to call her a fellow Gerudo."
Do you know this story? What do you think I'm going to do to her?
