An Old Servant

After a few rounds, the doppelganger slunk into the shadows and disappeared. I knew he would not flee, and it wasn't long before I found him. He came crawling back out of my shadow by my feet. Vines of shadow laced up my ankles and legs. Before I could react, my arms were sealed to my body by another vine curling around my torso like a snake. The shadow demon appeared beside me with his hands dangerously near to me. I tried to break free, but the tendrils constricting me were like steel.

"Come now, Ganondorf. Are you really so selfish that you would keep this fine woman all to yourself?" he taunted deviously. "Don't you think other men deserve to experience the fiery passion that you share?" I emitted an involuntary gasp. I could feel the vines pulling my legs apart, and pulling my shoulders back to force my chest out. "That's right, Dora. I've seen you, the way you please your husband in explicit, filthy ways," he hissed.

I instantly blushed, but my eyes stared at Ganondorf in a desperate plea for help.

"Ghirahim," Ganondorf snarled. "She belongs to me. Release her immediately, or I'll send you back to oblivion!"

"Aw, how did you know it was me?" the demon asked, all actions paused, disappointed.

"Your appearance may have changed, but your demeanor has not," Ganondorf answered, still fuming with anger. He desperately wanted to attack, but I was being used as a shield.

Shadow Ganondorf traced my jaw with the length of his fingers, and then combed them through my hair. A zap of magic flashed through the air and caught Ghirahim's attention. I jumped back, and just as I thought, he went with me because the shadow binding me was attached to him. He was smashed into the wardrobe directly behind me. The smack to his head caused his hold on me to weaken, and I lunged at him with the dagger. He snapped out of the way just in time and shrank back into the shadows.

When he reappeared, he bowed graciously at Ganondorf's feet, but not in the same form. This form was a slender man of average muscle. I gripped the dagger tighter and marched toward Ghirahim, but Ganondorf waved a hand to stop me. He lifted his leg back, and swung it forward so viciously the demon was sent flying back into the wardrobe again.

"And if you ever lay your shadow on my wife again I will obliterate you!"

I smirked. Ghirahim slid up the clothes cabinet to his feet and gazed over at me, once again saying, "Ganondorf is a lucky man, my lady. And you, are a lucky woman. He has never protected anything so selfishly, other than the Triforce, that is."

"If I ever catch you stalking me again," I threatened, and pressed the dagger against his groin, "you'll lose your valuables!"

Ghirahim chuckled, and rolled his head away from me. His grey eyes found me again when he said, "Allow me to properly introduce myself. I am Ghirahim, the long time servant of the Demon King, once known as Demise. I have been searching for my lord and master to serve him again. I finally found him, and I am so eager to be useful!"

I growled at him, and shoved the dagger into the wooden door, directly at the side of his head, just to get my point across. "Welcome home," I whispered, and walked away from him.

Ganondorf pulled me close. It was an amazing feeling to know I could trust he would never forsake me, for any one or any reason. He said, "I can see you are still quite powerful, and mischievous. Take a tour of Hyrule, and I'm certain you will find those who would still defy me. Change their minds, or kill them. Do this, and you shall earn my trust."

"Child's play, my king. Consider it done." And with that, Ghirahim was gone.

"Do we really have to keep him around?" I whined.

"While a nuisance, he is every bit as loyal as you, and wields incredible power. He once resurrected Demise, and fought against the hero as his weapon," Ganondorf explained, before he grinned, and led me toward the bed.

"That's impressive," I said, sincerely. "As long as he leaves me alone," I said with a shudder.

"Any man would be crazy not to desire you. You may not have noticed, but I see the way others gawk at you. They undress you with their eyes," he spat, like the words were bile. Then he added seductively, "I know I have craved you from the first day we met."

"I guess you're just lucky enough that I chose you, before someone else came along."

Ganondorf scoffed, as if any other outcome was impossible, and ridiculous. I completely agreed. I never imagined myself with any other man, and no one was as deserving of my love as him. So, I lunged into his arms and tackled him to the bed to prove it.
